We’ve got a set amazing photos of the Aurora Borealis by Daniel Kordan. Check them out!

Natural inspiration on the edge of the universe

Watching Aurora Borealis is like standing on the edge of the infinite universe and being a part of it. Dancing green, purple and pink colors in the dark sky grab your attention and show a divine magic. This stunning natural phenomena, by the way, inspired us to give our HDR software the name of Aurora HDR.

Where to find & capture the Aurora Borealis?

While you can see the Aurora from many northern locations around the world, one of the best is in Norway. More specifically on the Lofoten Islands. From 6 pm to 1 am, during November to March. The dry and windy weather with mild temperatures make the Lofoten islands a perfect place to catch the Aurora Borealis and make amazing and mind-blowing photos.

Daniel Kordan - a heavy traveler, educator and a pro photographer, knows every inch of the Lofoten Islands. He visits them several times a year with his photography workshops where he also creates and tests routes to other most beautiful corners of the world. What a life...
