Today, as we celebrate our first anniversary, we want to highlight key milestones, exciting new tools, and, most importantly, express our gratitude to you—our amazing community!
A Year in Review
March 2024 – Luminar for iPad debuts! We introduced powerful AI editing tools for iPad and Vision Pro, making complex edits effortless and intuitive. Features like Enhance AI, Sky AI, and Portrait Bokeh AI brought desktop-level capabilities to mobile, redefining creative freedom on the go.
June 2024 – Now on iPhone! We expanded Luminar Mobile to iPhone, ensuring seamless cross-device editing with cloud sync. This update also introduced two specialized portrait tools — Skin AI and Body AI — for enhancing photos and capturing people in their best light.
January 2025 – RAW Format Support & Editing History! With Luminar Mobile 2.2, we introduced full RAW editing support for files from leading camera brands, giving photographers greater control over color, detail, and exposure. This update also added Edit History, allowing users to track and save all modifications for easy review and refinement of previous edits. Additionally, iCloud sync ensures seamless editing across multiple devices, so users can start editing on one device and continue effortlessly on another
March 2025 – Performance & new features! We enhanced Luminar Mobile with a faster, smoother, and more intuitive interface, alongside optimized AI processing for improved efficiency. A brand-new feature, Shuffle Preset, lets users edit photos in a non-traditional way—focusing solely on the final result. Luminar Mobile now speaks Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, Hindi, and Indonesian, making it even more accessible to photographers worldwide.
