The story
I created this collection of Templates to inspire others to hone their editing skills in Luminar and achieve a unique atmospheric style in their photos. I’m known for the dark and mystical feeling in my imagery while keeping things tonally balanced through use of fade and complementary colors.This pack is designed to work on a variety of nature photos, whether dramatic landscapes or candid photos of your favorite wildlife. It gives your photos that much-needed emphasis while retaining tonal balance.What you will find in the Nature Collection 10 Templates pack:Dolomite Aerial — Giving a great base look for your drone images, this Template aims to boost contrast and tonal depth while working with flat greens, such as above forests and fields.. Scotland — Designed with autumn in mind, this Template pushes those pesky yellowy greens into the more autumnal color range, with a touch of Sky EnhancerAI to really bring out the details. Overall, it gives a nicely balanced kick to your images.Puffin Gold — Designed around wildlife photography, this Template keeps tones muted, with a touch of green and yellow luminance to really bring out details in foliage. The faded tone curve helps to give a film-like effect, while my custom LUT adds some extra depth.Tropical — Want to get those perfect red/gold sand colors that complement your bright blue skies or seas? Tropical was created with the beach lover in mind. Whether you’re using this Template on aerial shots or landscapes, the tonal balance will perfectly suit the arid environment.Winter Faroes — When working with late fall images, we’re often given a mix of snow and autumn colours, so this Template is built around dialing back the reds and perfectly balancing the whites, yellows, and blues. Again, I also use a touch of Sky EnhancerAI across this look to give your images a hint of magic.Icelandic Greens — I often find that the yellowy mossy colors in Iceland are quite distracting, so I’ve created this Template to help mute these and bring the tones to a more rounded green and dark orange color scheme. Use this Template for images in late summer where the greens of grassy hillsides are starting to yellow and you want to bring back a hint of summer!Fuji Glow — When shooting at sunset, we often find our subject is heavily in shadow, with a blue cast to the photo. With a mix of warmth, glow, Sky EnhancerAI, and fade, this Template really gives your sunset shots a piece of editing magic.Mountain Mood — With deep contrasty greens and a heavy touch of Sky EnhancerAI, this Template gives your dramatic landscapes a powerful boost while retaining a matte effect through the tone curve.Highland Fade — Based on one of my favorite photos, this Template has been designed for Nordic winter imagery, with a delicate tonal balance of faded orange colors and a matte blue effect. With only a hint of my LUT, this gives your images a nice rounded feel, followed through with a strong fade effect.Foxy Foliage — Shooting in a forest? Look no further. This Template will give your images that perfect green hue balanced nicely with the warm reds in your subject. Pair it with some wildlife or a good sunburst through the trees.Keep in mind that sometimes a Template’s default effect might be too strong. If it is, simply bring it back a bit with the Amount slider. Also, feel free to play around with custom LUTS in the Mood panel and use the built-in sliders to find your perfect balance.
