General Updates
We’re proud to present a major update to Luminar Neo that brings your editing experience to the next level! Version 1.25.0 conveniently connects your devices, adds new creative tools, and improves speed and stability across the board. Let’s explore what’s new.
- Luminar Ecosystem. Start editing on Luminar Mobile on iOS, Android or ChromeOS, and continue on your desktop with Luminar Neo with access to even more powerful creative tools. Your work stays synced, creating a truly connected cross-editing experience, and everything remains private—only you have access to your photos.
- Light Depth. Found in the Creative category, the new Light Depth tool adds realistic depth and light separation to your images. It replaces Relight AI, though you’ll still find the old Relight AI applied in your previous edits. Enhance dimensionality and mood with just a few sliders.
- Restoration. Located in the Catalog tab under the Enhancement tools, Restoration helps breathe new life into old photos by recovering details, removing damage and scratches, and even colorizing your images.
- Spaces. Publish your photos directly to online Spaces to create a personal gallery with ease. Organize your best shots, showcase your work professionally, and share your images with friends, followers, or clients.
You’ll also find a lot of improvements:
- Expanded Camera Support. Edit photos taken with Hasselblad X2D II 100C, Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS99, Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ99, Sony ILCE-6400A and Sony DSC-RX1R III.
- Performance Boosts. AI tools now respond up to 20% quicker on both Mac and Windows. Exporting photos outside of a session is now up to 50% faster, and switching between editing modes feels smoother than ever.
